Power Genius has recently deployed a commercial and industrial energy storage project in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, installing a GS125-261LS liquid-cooled energy storage cabinet for a local fuel equipment manufacturing plant. The system is configured alongside the plant’s distributed PV generation to improve solar self-consumption, stabilize production power supply, and provide emergency backup during grid outages.

The plant generates part of its electricity from on-site PV. During daytime hours with high solar output, excess power that cannot be consumed immediately may otherwise be exported to the grid or curtailed. With the GS125-261LS, surplus PV energy can be stored and discharged during peak demand periods, low solar output, or nighttime operation. This increases the plant’s self-consumption rate and reduces dependence on external grid power.
The system also serves as a backup power source. Continuous production is critical for fuel equipment manufacturing, and grid fluctuations or unexpected outages can affect equipment operation, order delivery, and production safety. The GS125-261LS supports both grid-connected and off-grid operation, providing emergency power to key loads when grid conditions are abnormal and helping minimize downtime.
The GS125-261LS is an all-in-one liquid-cooled C&I energy storage solution from Power Genius. It integrates the battery system, PCS, intelligent liquid cooling, BMS, EMS, and fire protection system into a single outdoor cabinet for fast and compact deployment. Rated at 125 kW / 261 kWh, it uses LFP battery cells and closed-loop liquid cooling to maintain tight cell temperature consistency, improving efficiency, battery life, and operational safety.
For safety, the GS125-261LS adopts multi-level protection from cell to system level, with pack-level and cabinet-level fire suppression. It continuously monitors temperature, smoke, and other abnormal conditions to enable coordinated response. The system also supports AI-enabled energy management, automatically optimizing charge and discharge strategies based on PV output, site load, and electricity price periods to support PV self-consumption, peak shaving, demand management, and backup power.
The Shenyang project demonstrates the adaptability of Power Genius’ C&I energy storage systems in northern industrial environments. Under conditions of significant seasonal temperature variation, fluctuating production loads, and variable PV output, the liquid-cooled cabinet delivers stable thermal management and high system integration, providing reliable and sustainable energy support for industrial operations.
