Power Genius is proud to announce the launch of two new outdoor PV-diesel-storage cabinet models: the GS56-112AS and the GS50-96AS. This release marks a significant milestone in Power Genius’s journey within the distributed energy and microgrid sectors. Both models feature deep integration of photovoltaic (PV) generation, LFP battery storage, Power Conversion Systems (PCS), Battery Management Systems (BMS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), and diesel generator interfaces. Supporting grid-tied, off-grid, and seamless grid transition modes, these products offer a highly reliable and efficient all-in-one energy solution. By coordinating PV consumption, peak shaving, and diesel backup, they are ideal for industrial and commercial parks, remote islands, and emergency power supply scenarios.

As the global energy transition accelerates, single-source energy supply models are increasingly unable to meet the demands of complex scenarios. This is particularly true for remote areas with weak grid infrastructure or industrial settings requiring high power continuity. Building microgrid systems with self-regulation and emergency backup capabilities has become an inevitable trend. The new PV-diesel-storage outdoor cabinets from Power Genius are a strategic response to this market need. Through a highly integrated multi-energy complementary architecture, these new products not only improve energy efficiency but also significantly enhance the resilience and flexibility of power supply systems, laying a solid hardware foundation for a zero-carbon, secure distributed energy ecosystem.
As the flagship model of this release, the GS56-112AS serves as the core hub for multi-energy microgrids, featuring an external hybrid inverter design and superior system performance. With a rated power of 56kW and a massive storage capacity of 112kWh, the unit maintains a compact footprint of 1070×1335×2280mm and weighs approximately 1.5 tons, achieving high energy density within a limited space.
In contrast to the external design of the GS56-112AS, the GS50-96AS adopts a built-in hybrid inverter architecture. With a storage capacity of 96kWh, it deeply integrates the PCS and battery system into a single cabinet. This all-in-one design further reduces the footprint, minimizes on-site wiring complexity, and lowers installation costs, making it particularly suitable for small and medium-sized microgrid projects with strict space constraints or requirements for rapid deployment.
Both models boast an IP55 protection rating, precisely covering needs for both outdoor and indoor applications, ranging from large industrial parks to small and medium-sized off-grid base stations.
The core competitiveness of the Power Genius PV-diesel-storage system lies in its advanced Energy Management System (EMS) and hybrid inverter technology. Acting as the "brain" of the system, the EMS supports a cloud-edge architecture and utilizes LAN, 4G, WiFi, and Bluetooth for comprehensive intelligent scheduling of PV, storage, diesel generators, and loads. The system can automatically execute complex strategies such as peak shaving, anti-backflow control, and EV charger power linkage based on electricity pricing strategies, load forecasting, and grid status.
In terms of reliability, the hybrid inverter supports three operating modes: grid-tied, off-grid, and seamless transition. In the event of a grid anomaly, the system can seamlessly switch to off-grid mode within 10ms, with storage, PV, or diesel generators taking over the power supply. When grid power is restored, the system automatically synchronizes and switches back to grid-tied mode without any manual intervention. This millisecond-level response capability provides robust power protection for sensitive loads in precision manufacturing and data centers.
